FF_SCRIPT_AUTH Log in
« on: March 07, 2014, 02:01:29 PM »
I am trying to implement Facebook log in for my app. I dont know how to get facebook_app_id. I made changes to Auth.js, it still cant retrieve the faecbook app id. I depolyed it to server, I also added Auth.js to my resources, but it doesnt work. I am pretty sure I am doing something incorrectly. Is there an additional step, I should be taking?

Thanks
Manjula

I am not 100% clear on the question, but I hope that I got it right that you are asking where to get the facebook_app_id...

You need to register your application with Facebook and they will give you an application ID and an application secret. You then need to replace facebook_app_id and facebook_app_secret in the Auth.js where you see...

auth.setScribeApiKey(FACEBOOK, "facebook_app_id");
auth.setScribeApiSecret(FACEBOOK, "facebook_app_secret");

Here is a guide on how to do that...

Sorry, it was me. I created a test app & pointed my app to that version. I made changes to what was meant to be production. Now the URI seems to generate OK, but I see nothing in my webview. (I am using iOS). Which is probably not related to this issue.
